We call it “The Green Season” now…because “rainy season” was misleading. There are many bright, beautiful days during the months of the Southwest Monsoon (about mid-May through October) here on the Andaman Sea coast of southern Thailand. But there are days of glorious, refreshing, cooling rains. Our perspective on rainy days is important…many might see it as a disappointment…a limitation. We like to remind ourselves that rain brings growth and gives us this tropical paradise. We must admit, though, it can make us nostalgic sometimes. Today was one of those days where the weather brings an intimacy that recalls lovely memories of the past…listen to the rhythm of the falling rain.
